OC Introduction: Brother Chastity/ Everette Beaumont ✟🐑

He/Him | 27 | Cloistered Alchemist | Disowned Noble Son General warnings for: transphobia, misogyny, misgendering, religious fundamentalism

Disowned by his noble family for an illicit affair with a foreign dignitary, Everette is forced into service at a secluded convent. Now dubbed Brother Chastity, Everette seeks a cure to the burning guilt that resides in the hearts of his other Brothers and longs for freedom.

Taxdett

Taxdett is a nation among many, distinct from its contemporaries like Crescent Keep in many ways. Taxdett is described as being similar to French Revolution France, England, and Louisiana (my own personal touch). It is patriarchal, anti-necromancy, stringent toward magic, spiritually legalistic, and dedicated to The Father. 

The Father Religion in Sorcero is varied and all deities conceivable exist, including the abrahamic God. The abrahamic god in Sorcero has been distorted through multiversal travel and the societies of Sorcero into The Father. The religion holds the most similarity to American Protestantism, focusing the most on The Son, The Father, and the Holy Spirit. 

The Beaumont Family

Taxdett is a nation ruled by aristocratic merchants, one of whom is a human man: Matisse Beaumont. The owner of Taxdett’s ports and ships, he controls the flow of commerce in and out of the rigid nation. The Beaumont family’s pockets and history run deep, the family having their hands in laws and conflicts across Montbard and Sorcero for centuries. They are shady but respected– too important to lose. The family’s manor in the capital city of Saint-Rose is where foreign dignitaries come to broker deals, write law, and negotiate tariffs. 

12 years after the birth of his heir, Julien, it was only natural he sire a spare. Having a girl was not the most optimal outcome, but after complications in labor, the mother of Matisse’s children was rendered infertile. His daughter, Everette’s, use was surely to be found in her beauty– guaranteeing a great future wife to another aristocrat .

Unfortunately, on her 13th birthday, she became ridiculous and uncontrollable with flighty fantasies of being a man.

Matisse Beaumont The Patriarch of the Beaumont Family. Infallible.�� Everette gets his eyes from him. Juliette Beaumont The wife of Matisse Beaumont, Juliette came from a high ranking merchant family. Juliette enjoys reading and the silence of a vacuous room. Upon her welcoming to the family, she revitalized the long neglected family rose garden. She is cerebral like her youngest son. Julien Beaumont The oldest son and heir to the Beaumont fortune. Julien is a sporty bachelor getting up there in years. Julien loves his younger brother and protects Everette’s honor. 

Everette Beaumont

13 years

After coming out at 13, Matisse appeases his rebellious “son” by designating Everette as Julien’s Diplomat-In-Training. Everette is allowed to sit in his father’s council meetings but is not allowed to speak. Instead of being competently trained outside of meetings, Everette’s father fills his days with suitors. Everette learns how to be a diplomat through books. He develops poor social skills.

Additionally, Everette is only allowed to wear dresses that fall below his ankles and are laced up his neck and arms. He is banned from participating in sports in public. His Father justifies it as the cost for his transition. 

19 years

Everette catches the eye of Crescent Keep’s Minister of Economy Qin Yazhu (He/They). Yazhu, seeing Everette’s struggles and recognizing the young man is being sabotaged by Matisse, helps train the young man in diplomacy and financial law between Crescent Keep and Taxdett. They both fascinate each other and match each other in intellect. Engaging conversations on history, science, politics, and other topics deepen their relationship and eventually lead to feelings between the two.

These feelings are forbidden, for many reasons.

20 years

They can’t help themselves. Everette and Yazhu begin their relationship in secret during a party. There are dreams of getting married, having a family together. Lessons in diplomacy continue. Everette strategizes on how to pitch the relationship as economically advantageous to his Father. He never gets to. 

21 years 

After a visit by Cresent Keep’s delegation, Everette is pulled aside by his Father. Yazhu had exposed their affair to Matisse, including all the sordid details.

Disowned and punished for losing his virginity, Everette is forced into service with the Sons of The Father, a cloistered order where he is renamed Brother Chastity – a brand of the sin he committed against his Father. 

[Children] of The Father There are many cloisters across Taxdett where those who sin against their families go to live in isolation and dedicate themselves to The Father. Taxdett is extremely transphobic. As such, these cloisters are divided by assigned sex at birth and gender identity. There are separate Sons of the Father cloisters for cis and transmen. Conversely, there are Daughters of the Father for cis and trans women. There are facilities for those with non-binary identities as well. Its all very messy and not a good organization system. It barely works. But Taxdett is transphobic and cissexist. Society at large does not know how to make sense of transgender people. 

21-26 years

Although he may have resisted his new name, Chastity has become a respected older brother figure in his convent. Like his mother, he is avoidant of friendship, but he finds he cares for the many troubled Brothers he comes to have. 

Everette has found that among his cloister, many have a residual burning that resides in their mind that never frees them. Just when they think it stops, it starts again. It haunts them everyday, at all hours. It is not magical, or medical, but Everette has picked up the art of Alchemy to find a cure.

The burning in Everette’s mind surrounds his affair with Yazhu. Everette wonders if he was tricked by the Minister of Crescent Keep’s economy. If they never loved him. If they used him. Chastity wonders how he could’ve been such a fool. He regrets and wishes for the family he planned to have with Yazhu.

27 years

One quiet day in the convent, Chastity receives a letter from his brother. He has been invited on behalf of their Father to the Queen of Crescent Keep’s ball. Everette is livid. He knows his Father did this to punish him further, make him feel captive and controlled.

Chastity makes it his mission to ruin Qin Yazhu’s reputation at the ball.

I'll Be Here (Part I )

Hey everyone! I am still an avid AO3 and Wattpad poster, but after lurking in the Jschlatt tags for a while I decided to start some fanfics here and see how they do. I'll still be cross-posting these on both AO3 and Wattpad. Here's a little Intro to Me: Name: Katie/ Kat Age: 24 Pronouns: She/ They Main Interests: YouTube (Jschlatt, Ted Nivision, Game Grumps, Smosh, etc) Sonic the Hedgehog, PJO, My Little Pony: FiM, Arcane, Cosplay, Crochet. This mini-series actually came to me after actually being hospitalized because of a kidney stone and my main comfort through the ordeal was other fanfics. So, thank you to the fandom! ❤️

Parts: One(This One), Two, Content Warning: Emetophobia, Blood, Hosptials, talk of disease and illness. Word Count:1,702 Description: After waking up in severe pain, Schlatt decides to take you to the hospital just to make sure you are okay. Turns out, it was a good thing he took you. (Based off of my actual experience of being in the hospital and coping with JSchlatt content.)

Searing pain. That's what you felt when you woke up, the lights in the bedroom were still off and it was still dark outside. You rolled as best as you could onto your other side, whining a bit at the pain as you looked at your alarm clock, 3:30 AM. You hear some shuffling from your boyfriend beside you as you feel tears stinging your eyes from the sudden sharp pain in your side. 

"Hun?" The thick New York accent of your boyfriend muttered out to you in the dark, "What's wrong?"

Schlatt sat up, Jambo who had been resting on his chest tumbling down the bed at the movement. Schlatt immediately noticed that you were visibly not only upset but curled into an uncomfortable position, a hand latched onto your left side waist to try and alleviate the pain. 

"I-I don't know but I'm in so much pain, Jay" you whined, unable to hide the hurt and panic in your voice. You closed your eyes to try and fight the inevitable tears. 

"How bad is it?" Schlatt asked softly coming closer to you and attempting his best to move you into cuddling with him. 

"I feel like I can't breathe" you explain feeling your breath quicken. 

"Honey, if it's that bad maybe we should take you to the emergency room?" He asked softly petting your hair. 

An involuntary whine left your mouth as you spoke, "Maybe,"

He sighs, hating to see you in this amount of pain, "Yeah, I think we should. I'm gonna get some of your things together, take your time getting out of bed" 

You followed his advice and took your sweet time getting out of bed. Every small movement shot pain through your side and back like nothing you had felt before. Not even bothering to change out of your sleep clothes, you struggled to put on your slip-on shoes grabbed your little backpack that kept your wallet and keys, and hobbled your way to the front door. As you finally made your way to the door, Schlatt was in full protective mode and opened the door for you, furiously texting on his phone. 

"Who are you texting?" You asked still seemingly breathless.

"Just letting your mom and my mom know that you're in pain and that I'm gonna get you checked into the ER to make sure you're okay" He hummed quietly kissing your temple as he guided you out of the apartment and to his car. You guys have been dating for quite a while and moved in together when he was still in Texas. Your mom wasn't super happy about you guys moving away to New York, but knowing his parents weren't far away did make her feel better. Knowing his mom was worried about you made you smile a little through the struggle. 

The drive to the ER was a whole different struggle. You couldn't sit comfortably or lay back without constant pain. The pain was also causing dizziness which was concerning to your boyfriend. You weren't one to get car sick, so when Schlatt looked over to see you squeezing your eyes shut tightly, his anxiety worsened. 

Soon enough, Schlatt pulled up next to the front doors of the ER and let you out of the car promising to follow you in as soon as he found a good parking spot. You made your way inside and to the front desk as they began to grab your vitals and ask about what you came in for. 

"Have you had pain like this before?" the nurse asked recording your blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate, you shook your head still feeling dizzy.

"Alright, Sweetheart, go ahead and go sit in the waiting area and triage will call you in shortly" Just as the nurse said that, Schlatt walked in carrying his small backpack and standing behind you. 

"And you are?" The nurse asked politely to Schlatt.

"The boyfriend" he smiled setting a soft hand on your shoulder which you immediately attempted to rest your cheek on for comfort.  

The two of you made your way to a plastic couch-looking seat in the waiting area, only waiting a couple of minutes in the surprisingly empty ER before another nurse called your name. Schlatt remained seated knowing they were just gonna ask some questions, get some blood samples, and send you back to the waiting area. You followed the triage nurse to a small office area.

"How's the pain on a scale from 1-10?" He asked typing away on his computer.

"Um... a 10" you spoke still slightly teary-eyed. 

"And what kind of pain is it?" He looked up.

You looked kind of at a loss for words since the pain was so unlike anything you had experienced. He elaborated, "Like stabbing, burning, cramping?"

"S-Stabbing" you mumbled unconsciously grabbing at your left waist again to try and soothe the pain. The nurse nodded and explained they would need a blood test and moved you to a small hallway outside the phlebotomy office. 

The phlebotomy specialist called you in and attempted small talk, but you were feeling more and more anxious and dizzy. The pain, mixed with a fear of needles was not faring well for you, and just as the specialist attempted to get another sample you spoke up, "I- I think I'm gonna faint" tears coming back to your eyes.

The specialist called in a nurse who grabbed a wheelchair for you just in case as they laid you back and let you calm down a bit.

"M-my boyfriend. H-he's in the waiting room can you go get him?" you asked the nurse softly and they nodded.

"His name is Schlatt" you spoke again and the nurse went to retrieve him. 

You were quickly moved into a room, given a hospital gown, and onto a hospital bed as a new nurse came  in, "Hi can  I get your name and date of birth?"

You gave her the information.

"Alright," She spoke softly sitting on a stool next to a computer in the room, "So we will have to try and get that blood sample from you still, and we will need to get an IV in you to give you some fluids because you're probably dehydrated. Then we will need a urine sample. Any chance of pregnancy?"

You quickly shook your head at that. 

"Okay," she spoke softly, "So once we get all of that taken care of we will get the doctor in here and she can kind of go over the plan for you, okay?" you nodded and Schlatt walked into the room immediately taking the empty seat next your bed and taking your hand. You felt hot tears slide down your cheek and you attempted to move closer to him. He sat up and gave you a small hug. 

"How are you feeling, Honey?" he asked softly.

You frowned, "Bad," he chuckled softly at that.

Sadly the struggle was still not over. The nurse had a bit of a hard time getting an IV in you with how dehydrated you were and finding your small veins. They ended up using a mobile ultrasound machine to find the vein and after almost half an hour got a proper IV in you, which would bruise later. You gave your urine sample and laid back quietly watching the barely working TV in the corner of the room while Schaltt sat close to you, continuously stroking your arm and your hair in comfort. 

The doctor came in after the blood and urine test results came back, she sighed and clapped her hands together, "Okay so, we think you might have a kidney stone"

Your eyes widen. You had never had a kidney stone before but knew that it could be extremely painful to pass. The doctor continued, " So, we are going to do a CT scan to see if we can see how big it is and see if we will need to intervene at all" You nodded cautiously and Schlatt squeezed your hand reassuringly. 

As the doctor left Schlatt once again placed a kiss on your temple as he spoke, 'Well I'm glad we decided to take you in" he smiled.

You laughed a bit, a little more relaxed after getting some high-level painkillers in your IV, "Yeah yeah you were right..."

"And it's something treatable. They're gonna take good care of my girl" he hummed softly.

Eventually, the CT Specialist came in to collect you and Schatt gave you a quick kiss with a joking, "Come back soon!" as you were carted off to the scanning room.  The CT scan itself didn't take longer than 20 minutes and it was not as scary as you thought it was,  the nurse who was assisting the specialist even let you take the pillow back with you to your room which you showed off to Schlatt when you came back, making him laugh. 

After the CT results came back, quicker than expected, the doctor came back in and smiled, "So good news, the kidney stone we found is only about 2 millimeters, which is pretty small for a stone. It should pass on its own. The bad news, it's pretty high up in your kidney so you'll probably be in a bit of pain for a few days until it passes. So, we're gonna send you home with a big painkiller that you can take as you need for the pain. Since it is so strong, you won't be able to drive with it in your system. I'm also gonna prescribe a medicine that should help relax those muscles to help with passing the stone as well" she smiled. 

"Don't worry, Honey," Schlatt cooed softly, knowing you hated being home bounded, "I'll drive you anywhere you need to go"

You nodded and thanked the doctor, preparing to be discharged and changing back into your pajamas from the hospital gown. After finally leaving the ER and getting all your discharge paperwork, Schlatt held your hand and hummed, "Well it's breakfast time now, you wanna grab something to eat on the way home before we grab your drugs?" 

You laughed a little at his description and nodded, "IHop?" you asked hopefully.

"IHop" He happily agreed pulling you into his side as you continued walking, glad that you were feeling better.

"What are we gonna do, Michael? I can't raise a child! I'm too young for this!" she wailed, looking tearfully at the sheepish father of her unborn child.

"Hey, hey-- everything's going to be okay. We'll figure it out when the baby comes." Michael placed a reassuring hand on her arm.

" Right now, you need to relax. Look, I'll clean your house for you before I leave, then you can get some rest. Sound good?"

He didn't wait for a confirmation before turning around and heading for the soiled toilet in Natasha's neglected bathroom.

She stared after him, fingers shaking as she guided a can of instant meal to her mouth. The sweet strawberry concoction tasted bitter and rough on her tongue.

She knew she needed to eat better for the baby. But she didn't want to think about all of that. She never wanted this.

In the bathroom, Michael struggled to suppress his nausea as he scrubbed the toilet. But it's not the stench that was making him feel ill.

Hadn't she said she was on birth control? How could this happen?

Would they have to get married now? He could hardly leave her and the baby by themselves. She would need support.

But right now, he honestly didn't know if he was willing to step up for that.

An hour later, the house was clean. Natasha lay asleep on the couch, dried tear stains and a slight frown on her sleeping face. She looked so tired.

A pang of guilt shot through Michael at the sight of her. Without a word he turned and walked out into the night.

The next couple of months flew by in a haze for Natasha. She couldn't tell whether it was Monday or Saturday. Noon or evening. All she knew was exhaustion.

Her bump grew bigger, and with it came a determination to eat better.

'I guess this kid knows better than I do.'

She saw less and less of Michael as she drew closer to her due date.

Natasha missed being outside. But the shame of her predicament and the perpetual state of exhaustion made it near-impossible to open the front door.

But on some nights, when the loneliness was unbearable, she would push through that invisible barrier and go out to hunt for bugs in her front lawn.

Fireflies always reminded her of the city lights. She found them comforting.

And then it was her due date.

Spending so much time alone, Natasha had made a little game of trying to predict when baby would come. As she sat at her dining table, she stared unseeingly at a scratch on the vinyl coating of the table.

'So, this is really happening. I am really about to be a mother.'

'What will my fans say... will they laugh at me?'

Distressed by the thought, Natasha spent the rest of the day on her bed, waiting.

At 9PM, baby Toby was born.

Thus began Natasha's new life.

I love them but they're so annoying I'm sorry and then when Violent found out ole girl has the same fighting style bc Zaden trained her too!!?? Violet wasn't mad enough for me. Then after he heard that girl tell Violet that Zaden only wanted her for sex what does he do? Try to have sex with Violet. IDk Violet is a much better woman than me I would have killed him. I do love that Violet clocked him and was like "You're acting like Dain." CLOCK HIM AGAIN. The Zaden being vennin at the end ugh what is even going awnnnnnn. smart ass - M.S pt 2

synopsis - matt’s not doing to well with his schooling but is determined to get his degree and pass his classes. one essay which is a huge part of their grade haunts him with a bad mark, luckily y/n is willing to him him

notes - college setting, matt gets more attention ! not proofread!

friday night rolled around faster than i thought it would, i strip off my diner uniform laying down in my bed in just my undergarments. i lay out a large sigh letting myself melt into my bed. 

my phone buzzed beside me with a notification posted on my lock screen.

i drop my phone back down, ill just close my eyes for a second, cus that shift really took it out of me. my eyes fell and a light sleep rushed over me.

i swiftly sit up and hear the repetitive ring of my cell phone. i see many notifications from my multiple social media apps and from matt. oh shit. MATT! I completely forgot about him!

oh shit oh shit oh shit. i quickly slip on some sweats and a baggy crew neck and grabs my school bag, im glad i thought about packing it before work today. i swipe up my laptop from my small desk and dash out the door. my car unlocks as i drop everything that was in my arms onto the seat next to me and step on the pedal getting there as fast as i possibly could. 

i see the outside of the larger house neighborhood and finally get to the house I was told to come too, pulling into the driveway. I see a silhouette of a man in one of the windows. 

i grab all of my belongings scrambling to the door, clicking the doorbell. I hear a melodic tune ring throughout the house. footsteps grace the front door as the door swings open. matt's eyes widen as they scan my body. 

He pushes the storm door open and says “oh you came.”

“im SO sorry matt, i came home after my shift and i ended up falling asleep on my bed because there was this mishap at the diner and i got blamed for it and i swear to god my boss is such an idiot and im so fed up with his bullshit.” i take a deep breath in “and then i know we agreed  again i fell asleep like a goddamn idiot.”

he just stared at me like i was the idiot, “im sorry is what i meant to say.” i continued 

he chuckles a little before stepping back slightly giving me space to enter, “hey its alright just come on in. follow me.” he says using his hand signaling to come along. 

we make it to a fairly large bedroom, i see a gaming setup squished onto a desk that was clearly not meant for housing gaming paraphernalia. “you can throw whatever we need onto the bed, we can just study there. and get comfortable. I know it's late but i'm still okay to stay up and we can even order coffee and some food as well if we get hungry. there’s not much in the fridge but chris’ soda if i’m being honest.”

“i’m alright for right now so let’s just get started on studying” i say to him.

“did you get that?” i ask matt after reviewing what we just went through. 

“yuuuup” he says with a smile, i noticed that his eyes squint when he smiles or laughs, its cute. i don't really think he got half of what i was saying but i think i got my point across.

“ i think it’s a good time to take a break, and plus we’ve been at this for 2 hours already.” i lay my head down against his plethora of pillows and just take a deep breath in. he copies me and comes falling down onto his bed.

i feel his weight shift as he reaches over for a remote to turn on the tv in front of us booting up netflix. moving down to his recently watched “brooklyn 99” begins to play as i hear the familiar voice of andy samberg talking. the theme song plays as i look over the boy beside me. 

“you like brooklyn 99?” i ask him with a furrowed brow pasted across my face. 

“god i love this show, every single episode.” he tells me looking back at me, his eyes stray from my eyes to my lips to my body. i didnt mind it to be honest, i kinda liked it if anything. 

I directed my sight back to the show. We sat in a comfortable silence but i couldn’t stay focused for long as my eyes wandered over to his sweats, then his hand near them. being fair he actually was pretty fine, i heard rumors before that he slept around a bit a year ago but it was old news quickly. 

as we near our third episode my eyes feel heavy and all my cares slipped away again as i drift off to sleep in his bed.

ugh, i wake up feeling incredibly hot. i rip off my sweater and dip underneath the covers, wow my sheets feel really nice, very fluffy….
